Garry started playing at 9 years old, taught by Lewis Turrell in New Zealand. Garry played with Innes Tartan Pipe Band in New Zealand and has competed in many grade one world championships. He moved to the USA in 1992 and played with the LA Scots until 2006. Garry enjoys a rum and coke and is also a competitive sailor.
